CACTi PCs began by accident – literally. In late 2017, our founder James Clarke turned a passionate hobby into a business almost overnight. What started with James building custom PCs for friends (and friends-of-friends) quickly grew into a full-fledged venture. The name CACTi (yes, like the resilient cactus 🌵) reflects our spiky determination to thrive in the tech desert.

Fast-forward to today, and that “little hobby” has blossomed into a dedicated team crafting high-end gaming and creator PCs for enthusiasts across the UK. We like to say “Tomorrow’s gaming, today’s order,” because we’re always a step ahead – bringing you next-generation performance right when you want it, without the wait.

Through it all, we’ve kept that original spark: a friendly, no-nonsense approach fueled by genuine love for PC tech. (No stuffy corporate saga here – just a gamer with a dream that became reality.)

Based in Runcorn, England, our team might be small, but we’re huge on personality and expertise. Every member of CACTi PCs is a hardcore gamer or creative professional (often both!), so we understand exactly what our customers crave. We’re the kind of team that gets as excited unboxing new graphics cards as you do. From our cozy UK workshop we infuse each build with meticulous care and geeky enthusiasm.

Don’t be surprised if you catch us testing your rig on the latest AAA game before shipping – quality control is a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it! We’re proud to be a local UK company, not a faceless giant. That means when you reach out, you’re talking to real people who genuinely love what they do (often the very same folks who built your PC). James still personally oversees most builds and occasionally even hand-delivers PCs to nearby customers.
